Today I had 3 trips. This morning fishing was really scrappy for Matt and his family, but they were first class people. This morning we landed one slot drum, one blue, and one Spanish. Fishing was less than scrappy. This afternoon was the total opposite. We started out trolling for blues and it was hot and heavy. After catching all they wanted we decided to cast for just a few more. We finished the trip in the sound and had 3 puppy drum encounters but no puppy drum. The evening trip we started out drum fishing and Jason landed one 50″ citation drum. Gigging was horrible tonight dirty water, wind, and no fish.
