Today I witnessed from first Citation Size Red Drum attacked by a shark in the sound. We had been fighting the drum about 25 minutes on a small rod when a shark snacked on him about 30 feet behind the boat. It was on a 2 foot deep grass flat so it was quite the event. It was a sad sight but very cool to watch. The sharks have been protected by the federal government so long they are taking over. Other than that it was good drum fishing today.
