Another day of cool northeast breeze in hatteras. The roads and houses are empty and it feels like December in the middle of summer. We are still not sure when visitors are going to be allowed back on the island. We are hearing now it’s going to be 1-2 weeks to repair electricity back to normal state. The county, CHEC, and PCL are working to get enough generators to open access back to Hatteras and Ocracoke. As for now we are all standing bye and ready for the island to open and go fishing. Thanks to all the hard work from Cape Hatteras Elecetric on resolving this issue. This group is first class I know they are working their hardest to get this island back on its feet. (252)-305-7755.
