Today I had Brandon Phelps and friends this morning and I had good family friends this afternoon. It was a good day and we had good fishing Both Trips. This morning we caught about 35 blues and 5 mackerel casting lures. We then transitioned into shark fishing were we did lots of hooking but not much landing. After 10 bites and using 5 blues for bait we finally got a blacktip to the boat. We ended up taking this fish for our kill and going to catch something else. This afternoon we caught a few blues on metal then went trout fishing. Despite the wind we ended up landing 6 keeper trout and tossing back about 10 throwbacks. It was a good day on the water.
