The morning was blowing but we managed to scrap out a catch. We landed one drum in the slot and released one fish over the slot. We also landed 2 bluefish casting in the birds. The afternoon we had success on the way home. Luck didn’t go our way this afternoon but we were able to land 2 red drum one being a citation. I bet we hooked 10 fish but just couldn’t hold on to them. Even on one fish we broke the hook on a trout jig.
