Fishing season kicked off with an unexpected visit with Midwatch Marine and followed up with a trip to Tommy Merrill’s Shop. Brian at Midwatch solve the motor issue in no time but that was just the start. I came on the trailer a little crooked and hauled my boat with the thru hull on top of the bunk. Brian and I went for a very short ride to check the motor when we discovered 2 planks shoved through and a substantial leak. Called my good buddy Tommy and he dropped everything he was doing and rolled the boat right into Backyard Boatworks. Tommy went right to work on the issue and 2.5 later back like new and in the water. We moved the new thru hull to prevent this in the future.
